Participation in our Adult B’nai Mitzvah Program is an incredible way to strengthen one’s connection to Judaism and the Temple Israel community. We are excited to welcome a new group of adult learners this January who will have become B’nai Mitzvah in Fall 2025.
Learners who register for the Temple Israel Adult B’nai Mitzvah course are making a 22-month long commitment to learning. In the first year, we will learn the prayers of the Shabbat morning service, learn key liturgical vocabulary, and discuss the meaning of many of our key prayers. Our Judaica studies will focus on the Jewish lifecycle, Reform observance and history, Torah Study and commentary.
Please note that there is a beginning Hebrew prerequisite for this class. Temple Israel will be offering a beginning Hebrew class this fall.
