Our Caring Community Committee provides Temple Israel members an opportunity to realize the mitzvah of performing acts of G’milut Chasadim (deeds of loving kindness), especially during difficult situations, such as when members experience the loss of a loved one. We fulfill a sacred mission simply by offering support and bringing people closer together. Our aim is to find wholeness and meaning in lives, both as individuals and as a community. All Jews are enjoined to perform this mitzvah. Therefore, we are all members of the Caring Community Committee.
